Happy 2018!
Welcome to From Where the Light Shines
"Truth is stranger than fiction" says the age-old adage. And it certainly looks like this year will certainly emphasize those words to the nth degree! As I write this first entry for 2018 I reflect back on just a little more than a year ago. It was a time which had huge effect on not only myself, but countless others around the globe.
The date was November 8th, 2016, the Presidential Election which left about 1/2 of the American population reaching for their security blankets, screaming at the sky, clamoring for "safe spaces" and a multitude of other ways to self soothe during this time of upheaval for them.
